The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to enter into a Multiple Award Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery Contract (MAC IDIQ) for array Alteration Installation Team (AIT) efforts. This announcement is restricted to nuclear qualified shipyards; therefore, NAVSEA intends to place MAC IDIQs with Electric Boat Corporation, A General Dynamics Company (EB), located at 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340-4989, and Huntington Ingalls Industries - Newport News Shipbuilding (HII-NNS), located at 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607-2770, and issue orders from 2021 through 2031. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed MAC IDIQs are for submarine system installation services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.303. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contract EB and/or HII-NNS directly. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
