The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for FY20-24 Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) requirements on a sole source basis to Saab Defense and Security USA, 5717 Enterprise Parkway, East Syracuse, NY 13057. The BOA allows for the placement of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Cost-Only type delivery orders for an ordering period of sixty (60) months from date of award. The BOA will allow for the maintenance and repair of the MMR system, systems engineering to evaluate and implement product improvements, and conduct training of MMR system. The proposed BOA is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2) (iii)(B). Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Saab Defense and Security USA directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
