Offerors are to note that any files or attachments not posted are available by written request to Thomas Williams, thomas.d.williams4@navy.mil and Melissa Donnelly, melissa.donnelly@navy.mil. ****************************************************************************************** 2/26/2020 - Solicitation Posting The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) issues solicitation N00024-20-R-4404 for the execution of the FY21 USS WASP (LHD 1) Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). The availability includes a combination of maintenance, modernization, and repair, and is expected to require a highly capable contractor with substantial facilities, to include an USS WASP class capable pier as well as human resources capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair, and modernization. The availability is competed on a coast-wide basis. Based on the complexity, magnitude, and duration of the requirement, the Government's market research indicates there are not two or more small business concerns capable of competing for the requirement and therefore this procurement will not be set-aside for small business (FAR 19.502-2(b)). The solicitation is issued electronically via beta.SAM.gov and interested parties must comply with that announcement. Interested offerors should monitor the beta.SAM.gov page for the release of the solicitation, and any applicable amendments. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at https://www.sam.gov. SAM.gov is the single point of entry for posting of the synopsis and solicitations to the internet. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The work packages and all J and S attachments not posted will be released after the RFP has been announced on beta.SAM.gov. Offerors are to note that Attachment J-1 (Specification Package No. TPPC-LHD1-MARMCN21-CN01), Attachment J-1 Errata 1, Attachment J-2 (Work Item Plans, Drawings, and Other References), Attachment J-3 (WASP LHD1 Milestones) and Attachment J-4 (Pricing Workbook) will not be posted to beta.SAM.gov and are available by written request to Thomas Williams, thomas.d.williams4@navy.mil and Melissa Donnelly, melissa.donnelly@navy.mil. The availability start date is anticipated to be December 2020. The delivery date of the USS WASP is to be no later than April 2022. The RFP contains the specific dates.
