The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery order under Dual Band Radar (DBR) Basic Order Agreement (BOA) N00024-18-G-5501 between the United States Navy and Raytheon Missiles and Defense of Tewksbury, MA for the procurement of delivery of DBR DDG 1000 Class Spare Parts required for repair of the DBR system. The contemplated contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii). Raytheon is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet these requirements without unacceptable delays. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to be considered by the agency. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted, information provided, or capability statements submitted as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts.
