The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00164-19-G-JQ69 on a sole source basis to Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp (Ball), 1600 Commerce St. Boulder, CO 80301 for repair of parts for the Stalker Long-Range Electro-Optic Sensor System. Ball is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet requirements for the Stalker System. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Ball directly. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A detemination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considere solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
