The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to extend the services of the awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) delivery order under Dual Band Radar (DBR) Basic Order Agreement (BOA) N00024-18-G-5501 between the United States Navy and Raytheon Company, Missiles and Defense of Tewksbury, MA. This BOA order is for system security installations and software maintenance agreement to include operating system updates and patches in support of CVN 78, DDG 1000, and DDG 1001 on a sole-source basis. The contemplated order extension will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii). Raytheon is the only company with the requisite expertise, knowledge, experience and facilities necessary to meet these requirements without unacceptable delays. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis.
