A written solicitation will not be issued. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source Delivery Order, under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-16-G-2218, to Austal, USA (Austal), 1 Dunlap Drive Mobile, AL 33610. The purpose of this procurement is to implement improved bow modifications to T-EPF 10 for improved Safe Operating Envelope capability. Austal is the only source designing and building the Expeditionary Fast Transport Class Ships. As the building yard for this Class, Austal is the only source having the unique knowledge and expertise, including detailed knowledge of each ship's delivered configuration, deferred work, incomplete changes, and technical data to competently perform the planning, design and engineering functions to meet Government schedule requirements. The intent of this notice is not to solicit competitive offers.
