The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue RFP N00024-14-R-2415 and award a contract on a sole source basis to Huntington Ingalls Incorporated (Ingalls Shipbuilding), 1000 Access Road, Pascagoula, MS 39568 for Planning Yard Interface and Life Cycle Engineering and Services (LCE&S) support efforts for LPD 17 Class Amphibious Transport Dock Ships, as well as necessary Spares. The resulting contract will be awarded on a sole source basis because Ingalls is uniquely qualified with the requisite background, knowledge, and experience required.
