The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Linthicum Heights, MD, for the procurement of EA-18G Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) System Enhancements (ASE) B-Kit requirements. This procurement will include the production, engineering support, technical support, associated data and delivery of Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA) 7s and 8s and Retrofits for fiscal year 2022 and 2023. The total estimated quantities of WRA-7s and WRA-8s being procured is 85 of each and the total estimated quantity of WRA-7 and WRA-8 Retrofits being procured is 12 of each type, or other such quantities that may be authorized and appropriated by Congress. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". As the incumbent contractor NGSC has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required.
