NAVAIR’s V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275) intends to issue a sole-source delivery order under a Basic Ordering Agreement to Bell Boeing Joint Program Office in Amarillo, TX, for V-22 FCS Enhanced Capability improvements. The effort includes Level I handling qualities in critical mission tasks, tactile cueing of aircraft operating limits, and HOTAS control of FCS modes. The sole-source basis is that Bell Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 and the only known source with the required knowledge, expertise, and complete engineering and technical data.
