NAVAIR F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to execute a limited sources justification and award a task order to Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bethesda, MD (Cage Code 3DA23), under previously-established Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) N68335-18-A-0040. The task order will comprise continued provision of requirements and affordability analysis in support of ongoing negotiations between the JPO and the F-35 Air System Prime Contractor. BCG is the incumbent provider of this support and has been determined uniquely to possess the expertise and experience to provide the follow-on support necessary until negotiations conclude. The anticipated period of performance for this effort is two months. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, although other sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is within the discretion of the Government. The JPO does not intend to delay award while reviewing responses to this synopsis, if such responses are provided.
