The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD has a requirement to award a modification to contract N0001920C0054 for the procurement of non-recurring engineering to support Chimera-X CCA integration into the AN/APR-39 D(V)2 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) system. The Chimera-X CCA is designed to replace the existing Signal Acquisition (SigAcq) CCA and provide additional capability for detecting RF threats. This effort will include integration and testing activities, as well as the delivery of Chimera-X CCAs. Anticipated contract actions also include delivery of spare DRP-2 CCAs. This effort is being solicited on a sole source basis to Northrup Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
