The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order to BAE Systems Information and Electronics of Greenlawn, New York. The order will procure modification of the Acceptance Test Procedures and supporting procedures for APX-123A Common Transponder and components to remove all Mode 4 cryptographic dependencies. Execution of the tasking requires proprietary knowledge of the Common Transponder to modify software on proprietary hardware. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to pursuant to the provisions of FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source”.
