NAVAIR’s Aerial Targets Program Office intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) for the advance procurement of long-lead items supporting the BQM-34S Subsonic Aerial Target (SSAT), including Enhanced Integrated Avionics Units and Brushless Aileron Actuators. Contract award is projected for the second quarter of FY2028, with a 24-month period of performance. NGSC is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the BQM-34S and the only known source with the required technical data and software rights.
