NAVAIR PMA-290 intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Collins Aerospace Aerostructure (Rohr, Inc.) for commercial Inlet Cowl Assembly units (PN 314-2100-5) supporting P-8A and U.S. Air Force E-7A aircraft, including Domestic and Foreign Military Sales requirements. This Sources Sought/Notice of Intent is market research to determine whether adequate interested and qualified contractors exist and to gather vendor feedback on capability, subcontracting/teaming, barriers, and draft specifications. It is not a request for proposal, and the Government is not obligated to issue an RFQ, make an award, or pay for information or response costs. Interested responders should submit capability statements of no more than three pages without pricing, addressing the stated objectives and relevant past projects.
