This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract modification to General Atomics for software sustainment of the Common Intelligence Picture (CIP) system used in the MQ-9A UAS. The work involves quarterly software releases, defect tracking, maintenance, and onsite engineering support. The award is expected by the 3rd Quarter of Fiscal Year 2026, with an estimated period of performance consisting of a three-month base and a 12-month option. The government believes only the original manufacturer possesses the necessary knowledge and technical data to perform this work on time and cost-effectively. While this is not a request for proposals, interested parties may submit a response for the government's consideration regarding a potential competitive procurement.
