NAVAIR at Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole-source delivery order to DRS Systems, Inc. for support equipment, system documentation, software development training, facility support, and standup of organic software activities. Tasking also includes Operational Flight Program and User Data File development, system integration, and test support for DAIRCM. The sole-source basis is that DRS is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the equipment, and the government lacks a suitable competitive technical data package for the AN/AAQ-45.
