NAVAIR’s PMA-265 intends to solicit Lockheed Martin for a contract modification to execute DMSRB Case I033, a life-of-type buy of an anticipated 950 X-ES re-balled Intel Xeon D-1559 processors for the X-ES XPedite7672-67 3U VPX COTS card supporting the IRST Block II Processor WRA. The Intel processor IC is obsolete, so the buy is intended to mitigate production and sustainment risk.
