This Naval Air Systems Command (PMA-265) sources sought/RFI is for market research only, is not a solicitation or request for proposal, and includes no commitment to award or funds to pay for response preparation. The Government intends to solicit The Boeing Company for an order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement for supplies and services supporting Stores Management Processor (SMP) obsolescence and DMSMS mitigation. The scope includes designing and qualifying alternate parts to replace obsolete components of the AYK-22 Stores Management Processor, which interfaces between the aircraft mission computer and weapons/external stores and is no longer supportable due to component obsolescence. Interested vendors are asked to provide a one-page capability statement in bullet format demonstrating experience procuring and qualifying obsolete electronic components for military aerospace, access to required technical data, and quality assurance processes/certifications; the Government is also interested in commercial published price lists, lead-time, and current stock levels.
