Notice ID:N00019-26-RFPREQ-TPM265-0073

The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking sources for non-recurring engineering to develop an improved, more producible design of the light off detector (LOD) for the F414 engine, used on U.S. Navy aircraft. The effort involves maturing two technology solutions from TRL 4 to TRL 5, then down-selecting to one for prototype testing to TRL 6. The LOD design is proprietary to Meggitt Defense Systems, Inc., and a site visit is required to determine a suitable source. Responses must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 10 July 2026. No budget information or performance location is specified.
