The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to award a sole-source modification to Meggitt Defense Systems, Inc. for technological improvements to the Light Off Detector (LOD). The effort focuses on developing, designing, and validating advancements to mitigate obsolescence and improve producibility. Meggitt is the sole designer, developer, and depot for the LOD, holding the proprietary technical data required for this work.
