AN/APX-111(V) Combined Interrogator-Transponder (CIT) Set Receiver-Transmitter, RT-1763 Redesign Effort in Support of F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Platform Integration
NAVAIR, on behalf of PEO Tactical Aircraft Programs and PMA-265, is conducting market research to identify capable sources for a potential future AN/APX-111(V) Combined Interrogator-Transponder (CIT) Redesign and lifecycle support effort. The contemplated work includes redesign of the RT-1763/APX-111(V) Receiver-Transmitter, Form-Fit-Function-Interface replacement, prototype and engineering services, qualification/certification, F/A-18E/F and EA-18G integration, new production, repair, spares, and sustainment through end of service life. Key drivers include hardware Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages, forward compatibility with KIV-78A and future cryptographic modernization, and compliance with DoD AIMS, CNS/ATM, spectrum, EMI, cybersecurity, export control, and MOSA/open-interface objectives. Interested vendors should submit capability statements demonstrating corporate/past performance, technical approach and data rights, security/crypto integration, certification and platform integration, quality management, production/repair/supply capacity, DMSMS monitoring, acquisition strategy/SB teaming, and ROM schedule estimates. Responses should be PDF, bullet-format, up to 10 pages excluding cover/administrative identifiers, with CAGE/UEI, size/socioeconomic status, POCs, place(s) of performance/manufacturing/repair locations, and clear prime/subcontractor roles; all capable companies, including small businesses, are encouraged to participate.
