NAVAIR intends to issue a modification to an existing Firm Fixed Price delivery order and a new Firm Fixed Price delivery order under a Basic Ordering Agreement to General Electric Aircraft Engines for various CT7-8A6 engine components supporting the Presidential Helicopters Program. This procurement will be conducted as other than full and open competition under FAR 6.302-1 because only one responsible source can satisfy the agency’s requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit a capability statement for the Government to consider in determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The Government is not committed to issue a solicitation, make an award, or reimburse any costs incurred by interested parties before contract award.
