The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source Cost Plus Fixed Fee delivery order to Collins Aerospace for non-recurring engineering to integrate a Wideband High Frequency radio suite onto the E-6B aircraft. The effort includes developing an integration technical data package, system integration lab testing, validation and verification installations, and procurement of A-kits, B-kits, spares, and training. Collins Aerospace is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and facilities to perform this work as the original equipment manufacturer.
