Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price delivery order to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (a Lockheed Martin company) in Stratford, CT. The order covers System Demonstration Test Article installations for RIOs 617, 785D, and 854 in FY27, with a 12-month period of performance under an existing Basic Order Agreement. Sikorsky is identified as the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the CH-53K weapon system and the only known responsible source with the required knowledge, technical data, capability, experience, tooling, and test facilities.
