NAVAIR plans to award a sole-source Basic Ordering Agreement for APKWS II support services, including engineering, logistics, and programmatic work, outside of existing production contracts. The agreement will be used by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, other U.S. government agencies, and Foreign Military Sales cases. The justification for non-competitive procurement is that BAE Systems is cited as the sole qualified source possessing the necessary technical data and expertise.
