REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR GROUP 1 AND GROUP 2 UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM (UAS) TRAINING, MISSION PLANNING, MISSION REHEARSAL, SIMULATION, AND QUALIFICATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
This RFI is for market research and planning only, not a solicitation or commitment to procure. The Aircraft Project Management Office seeks industry white papers on commercially available and emerging Group 1 and Group 2 UAS training, mission planning, mission rehearsal, simulation, and qualification management systems, with potential future demand described only illustratively as up to thousands of training devices, simulator stations, software licenses, or equivalent units. Responses will help the Government identify solutions and assess technical maturity, interoperability, scalability, implementation considerations, and business models to inform requirements and acquisition planning; selected respondents may be invited to follow-up discussions or technical demonstrations. An Air PMO virtual Industry Day was held on 03 September 2026, and participation is not a prerequisite for responding. The effort is independent of the Drone Dominance Program, and respondents should address the requested capability areas without assuming any relationship to that program.
