The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office (PMA-271), intends to issue a firm fixed-price Purchase Order (PO) for the application of primer and sealant to the Leading Trailing Edge Spar (LTES) for one (1) E-6B aircraft under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5. This effort will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source. Performance Aircraft Services, Inc. has the requisite experience, familiarity, and is currently on-site working resealing efforts on this aircraft. This notice is for informational purposes only. Note: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any capability statements received by the close of the synopsis may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.? The Government will not reimburse any respondent for costs incurred for the information received as a response to this notice.
