INTODUCTION This Presolicitation notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a sole source delivery order to North Star Scientific Corporation (NSSC), Kapolei, HI for the continuation of the PMA-231 Wideband Active Integrated Multi-function Electronically-scanned Array (WAIMEA) effort formerly referred to as High Gain Ultra high frequency Electronically-Scanned Array (HG-UESA) under Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Topic # N06-125, "L-Band Solid-State High Power Amplifier for Airborne Platforms." GENERAL INFORMATION NSSC is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical expertise to advance this effort. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
