The purpose of this Sources Sought is to survey industry interest and to identify industry capability. Any information provided by industry to the U.S. Government is strictly voluntary and at no cost to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government will not reimburse vendors for any preparation/submission costs. This is not a Synopsis or a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government to acquire any products or services. The information requested by this Sources Sought will be used by the F-35 Lighting II Joint Program Office. For the purpose of this Sources Sought, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 – Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. 1. The contemplated scope of work includes: The contractor(s) providing Ancillary Armament Equipment directly to the DoD F-35 Lighting II Joint Program Office (JPO). 2. The Government is seeking sources and information in the following areas: a. If there are any vendors looking and able to directly supply the below list of part numbers directly to the JPO in support of mission readiness and sustainment for the current and future F-35 fleet(s). b. If there are vendors aware of any competitive barriers that exist in providing the below list of part numbers directly to the JPO. SEE ATTACHED c. Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number.? d. Business size (Other than Small Business or Small Business)? e. If business size is characterized as ‘small business,’ if applicable, what is the small business socioeconomic program status? E.g. Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a)-certified small, disadvantaged business, historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), woman-owned small business (WOSB). 3.
