The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking information from industry on designing a system to replace obsolete PCMCIA cards for data storage in the P-8A aircraft's MFDAU, which must also allow expanded data recording and integrate with Teledyne's AirFASE software for analysis. The performance location is NAVAIR HQ in Patuxent River, Maryland. The government plans to procure one system with delivery anticipated in Fiscal Year 2026. Respondents must address their ability to secure necessary technical data from the OEM, Teledyne, and describe their approach for delivering a flight-ready system within 30 days of a planned 2026 award.
