NAVAIR intends to award a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price contract to BAE Systems for Super Analog Module Automated Test Stand (AMATS) upgrades, spares, and EECU evaluation services. The procurement is for the Engine Electronic Control Unit (EECU) Test Bench to support repairs and spare parts for inspection, testing, and harvesting. The justification is that BAE Systems is the OEM and the only company with the necessary knowledge, data, and capability, and the Government lacks the data rights for full and open competition.
