NAVAIR intends to award a sole-source delivery order to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for CH-53K gearbox maintenance tooling. The justification is that Sikorsky is the sole designer and manufacturer of the system and the only known source with the necessary technical data, capability, and facilities. The work will be performed at the contractor's facility in Stratford, Connecticut. This procurement is conducted under statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition.
