The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to conduct a full and open competition for the procurement of maintenance and commercial depot-level overhaul of the Aerial Refueling Store (ARS) Model A/A42R-1 to remove corrosion, perform repairs and restore the ARS to A-condition serviceability in part number (P/N) 31-301-48310-7 configuration. The contract is to be awarded for a base year and four one-year options, completing up to 10 units per year. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement. This is NOT a request for proposals. This information is provided to assist NAVAIR in identifying potential vendors interested in providing maintenance and overhaul of the Aerial Refueling Store (ARS). The final requirement will be defined under a formal RFP. The anticipated contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract.
