LLC Melbourne,... THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source order against BOA number N00019-24-G-0001 with DRS Systems Inc. LLC Melbourne, FL to order new Production Representative Model (PRM) hardware for the AN/AAQ-45 Program of Record (PoR) Distributed Aperture Infrared Countermeasures (DAIRCM) system. These requirements will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." DRS Systems, Inc. is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the equipment addressed in this synopsis and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. In addition, the Government does not own a technical data package (TDP) for the AN/AAQ-45 which is suitable for competition. Drawings and data are proprietary to DRS Systems, Inc.
