The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Patuxent River, MD, intends to procure long-lead, time-critical parts for F/A-18E/F aircraft from The Boeing Company and its subcontractors on a sole-source basis. The period of performance is anticipated to be eight months. The parts are already in the physical custody of Boeing and its suppliers following a prior procurement. This is an informational synopsis and not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit a Statement of Capability within 15 days, which the Government will use to confirm or reconsider its sole-source approach.
