The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole-source modification to Raytheon for repairing nonfunctioning Weapons Replaceable Assemblies and performing configuration upgrades related to Engineering Change Proposal 6279. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, and depot for the APG-79 radar systems, possessing the exclusive technical data required for the repairs. The government has determined that no other source can meet these requirements without substantial duplication of cost. This is a sources sought notice for informational purposes only, not a request for proposals. Responses to this notice are due by August 11, 2026, and the work will be performed at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to award a sole-source modification to Raytheon for repairing nonfunctioning Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and performing configuration upgrades under Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6279.
