The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to solicit and negotiate mulitiple contract actions with Lockheed Martin Corporation Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX for F-35 Lightning II engineering projects. The proposed contract actions will provide for additional engineering hours to complete various projects including a Flight Science Instrumentation Trade Study. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. All responses received by the Government within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
