The F-35 Lightning II Program Office intends to issue a sole-source order for an F-35 platform interface T&E solution that injects synthetic EO/IR imagery into an F-35 system under test using a government-furnished scene generation system. The effort continues prior work and is limited to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F-35, based on its unique experience, proprietary documentation, software/algorithms, and technical expertise. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be pursued directly with Lockheed Martin through Emma Stevens at 817-655-8902. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but responsible sources may submit a capability statement; no telephone responses will be accepted, and any decision to compete is at the Government’s discretion.
