Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Sole Source Task Order (TO) under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001924G0004 to L3 Harris Technologies Integrated Systems, 7500 Maehr Road, Waco, TX 76705 for the procurement of reach back services to support the E-6B Mercury Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) upgrade effort for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 through 2027. Reach back services are to include, but are not limited to: engineering, logistically, and technical reach back support for the correction of deficiencies in APU kits, perform updates to drawings and work orders, and implement supplier changes as necessary. This intended procurement will be processed pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. §3204(a), whereby the supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received within thirty (30) days after the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
