Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award and negotiate a modification to contract N0001919C0083 for the procurement of AGR5 parts and AGR5 specific assemblies, disassembly of PMA-280 supplied AGR4 units, assembly of AGR5 Circuit cards, assembly and test of AGR5 units, modification of missile-level and AGR5-level Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to support AGR5 LRIP, AGR5 design modifications and requalification due to component availability issues, First Article Inspection (FAI), AGR5 Acceptance Testing, and AGR5 deliveries to the Recertification Program. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Raytheon Company. Since 1994, Raytheon has been the sole developer, designer and manufacturer for the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile. RAY solely possesses the current configuration and manufacturing data for the Tomahawk Block IV and Block V AUR missile and is the only source capable of performing the required integration and testing. RAY maintains and controls both the Level III technical data package (TDP) and the manufacturing documentation for the Block IV and Block V AUR. RAY is the only known source that currently possesses the required technical knowledge, expertise, data and facilities required to integrate M-Code into the TACTOM AUR missile within the required time and budget available to meet U.S. Navy Fleet Requirements. The data associated with the Tomahawk missile is export controlled and is not available to foreign sources or representatives.
