Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River Md, intends to issue a sole source Delivery Order off Basic ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-21-G-0006 to Boeing Company, Saint Louis, MO in support of the BRU 61 New USN Production. The Government contemplates a five year ordering period for supply and services related to the production, engineering support, integration and sustainment of the BRU-61. The proposed action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Boeing is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the BRU-61 and owns the proprietary data that is required to perform the effort and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical data that can meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis and in a cost effective manner. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. Responsible and interested parties, however, may identify their interest by responding to the requirement with a capability statement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. Unless stated herein, no additonal informatoin may be available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Govnerment not to compete these efforts based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Govenrment. No phone inquiries will be entertained. Responses shall be made in writing by E-mail to the attention of Amber Wroble and Jessica Blackwell using the contrct information provided in this sources sought.
