The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source contract to BAE Systems Information and Electronics Systems Integration, (hereinafter referred to as “BAE Systems”), Nashua, New Hampshire. This contract will procure the FY2023-FY2027 OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group systems, retrofit kits, Installation and Checkout (INCO) Kits, production support, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) repairs, and technical data. The total estimated quantity of OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group Systems, retrofit kits and INCO kits being procured is 110, or other such quantities that may be authorized and appropriated by Congress. BAE Systems is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group systems. BAE Systems has the unique knowledge, experience, special skills, facilities, manufacturing techniques, and technical data required to produce the OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
