The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source order to BAE Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration, Inc. of Nashua, NH to complete the critical design review for the SWaP antenna as defined in the previously completed LCS Unit 1 Reduced SWaP Study. The Contractor shall meet the system requirements for modifying the Antenna Group OE-120()/UPX to work with form/function requirements for use on ships requiring a lower SWaP footprint Interrogator Antenna. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
