This eff... The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a new Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order under the Basic Order Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0012 to Bell Textron Inc. (Bell) located in Fort Worth, TX. This effort is to procure approximately one-hundred-and-sixty (160) AH-1Z recurring hardware part kits (i.e. Duct Assy, Inlet Ducts, Brackets, Retainers, Seals, etc.) for the C-box Chaffing Mitigation Modification over five years utilizing a base year with and four one-year options. The quantity procured each year will be dependent on production capacity. Forty-five (45) separate AH-1Z initial spare kits and forty-five (45) 90 degree fitting initial spares (449-040-935-101 Elbow and 449-040-932-101 Standoff Bracket) will also be procured. This requirement will be negotiated and awarded on a sole source basis with Bell in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency’s requirements.
