Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to procure up to 100 All Up Round Tactical Missiles, 10 Special Air Training Missiles (NATMs), 16 Captive Test Missiles (CTMs), and associated containers for the United States Army as a modification to an existing Fixed Price Incentive Firm (FPIF) option under the AIM-9X Production Contract N00019-21-C-0723. The quantities identified herein are estimated and may be adjusted to reflect other such quantities as may be authorized and appropriated by Congress. NAVAIR intends to award this action on a sole source basis with Raytheon Missiles and Defense, Tucson, AZ. Under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract or contracts for the efforts mentioned above.
