This additional effort is to p... The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to modify existing contract N00019-19-D-0020, awarded to Micro Systems, Inc. (MSI), located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This additional effort is to provide major and minor repair CLINs for Transponder, part number M280-10 and minor repair CLIN for Transponder, part number M280-60 in support of the NAVAIR PMA-208 System for Naval Target Control (SNTC) Program. The anticipated award of this modification is planned for 3rd quarter fiscal year (FY) 2021, and the ordering period for the CLINs associated with this modification is through 24 Februray 2022. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. MSI is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, proprietary rights, experience, and other technical expertise to meet the Government’s requirements specified herein. Currently, the Government does not possess data rights sufficient to support competitive acquisition of this requirement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
