Updated 22 MAR 2021: The description of this procurement is updated to include one (1) Assembly Docking Station, Part Number 8G200?109 associated with the one (1) Shipboard Launch Rail Cart (SBLR), Part Number 8G100?109. Posted 30 JUN 2020:The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to award a sole source, modification to Delivery Order N0001920F0322 under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019?17?G?0003 with Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems, Inc. (KUAS), Roseville, CA for the procurement of Peculiar Support Equipment for the SSAT BQM?177A Program. This procurement will include five (5) Combined Trailer Launch Rail (CTLR), Part Number 8G101?107 and one (1) Shipboard Launch Rail Cart (SBLR), Part Number 8G100?109 with deliveries expected 24 months after contract award. Contract Award is anticipated for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2021. The BQM?177A is a subsonic, recoverable, aerial target system that emulates Anti?Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) and Surface?to?Air Missile (SAM) in support of weapons system test and evaluation. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302?1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. KUAS is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the BQM?177A SSAT to include unique mission kits, special tooling, software and support equipment. KUAS is the only known contractor with the requisite knowledge, maintenance and repair experience, and noncommercial technical data and software rights to meet the Government’ requirements for the BQM?177A SSAT system.
