The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price delivery order with Flightline Electronics, Inc., 7625 Omnitech, PL, Victor, NY 14564-9795, on a sole source basis under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-19-G-0009. This procurement is for approximately seventeen (17) Fleet Airborne Air Surface Warfare (ASW) Intelligence (AAI) VPX Integrated Programmable Receiver (VIPR) Software Defined Sonobuoy Receivers (SDSR).The anticipated award date is April 22, 2022 with a delivery date is six (6) months after award. A sole source contract is consistent with the terms identified in this announcement upon the basis of the authority provided in 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
