Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole-source Cost Reimbursement contract to Collins Aerospace for the modification, testing, and production of a form, fit and function E-6B Generator Control Unit (GCU). The effort shall include, but is not limited to, the Non-Recurring Engineering and production of a new E-6B GCU replacement. Collins Aerospace is the only contractor with the requisite experience and technical data necessary to perform this effort on the E-6B aircraft. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by NAVAIR.
