The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a base, plus one option, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-20-G-0007, with a Period of Performance of one year, to Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD), 1151 East Herman’s Road, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337, to provide AIM-9X integration support. This includes fatigue life analysis of the AIM-9X on stations 1 and 11 of the F-35C, as well as modeling and testing in order to develop flight clearance of the AIM-9X Block I and II missile on stations (1 and 7) of the AV-8B, consisting Instrumented Measurement Vehicle (IMV) Analysis and Reporting and an option for AIM-9X Carriage Life Assessment and Reporting. NAVAIR intends to award this procurement sole source to Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337, based on the authority provided in FAR 6.301-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Sources or Services Wil Satisfy Agency Requirements.
